Alabama ServantCARE Prophet Chamber

Our prophet chamber, located on a wooded lot, is a country French home with an upstairs guest room with adjoining bath, furnished with a queen bed, dresser, desk and chair for study, as well as a chair for reading, affording guests needing quiet time as well as those desiring to come for personal ministry, a peaceful getaway. The guest room has a CD player and TV/VCR with lots of teaching/edifying/relaxing videos for your listening/watching pleasure.

Prophet's Chamber On the back of the property among the trees you will find chairs sitting near a small spring fed creek suitable for quiet meditation, walking trails among the woods, as well a wonderful neighbor-hood for long quiet walks, horseshoes available, a basketball goal, hammock on a covered patio where you can watch the birds and listen to the jingle of the wind chimes on a breezy day, or there is a 46,000 acre lake close at hand for fishing, and/or swimming in warmer weather (which is a lot in Alabama). The ServantCARE library is at your disposal during your visit. Or you can sit at the table in the courtyard and just listen to the quiet as God speaks in a still soft voice to your heart.

Meals are with hosts, Larry and Anita Parks, ministry directors, or you may have free access to the kitchen to eat when and if you desire. When registering please make your dietary and beverage likes and dislikes known.

Quality time is set aside by your hosts to get to know you and hear your heart. There is traditionally a book or two (varies with length of stay) given as a gift to read and study as they minister to you. The recommended reading will be helpful in areas with which you may be dealing.

Desiring to be a blessing ServantCARE attempts to keep all expenses for missionaries to a minimum. Your donation for the time at the ServantCARE prophet chamber covers room and board, personal ministry, and book(s) and is $30 daily for singles and $40 daily for couples.
